Scammers are spoofing Shazam's real number and contacting customers, pretending to be from the debit card fraud department. The caller ID shows Shazam's legitimate number, and the messages sound professional. Their goal is to make customers believe their card has been compromised and ask them to share their account information and send money.

Shazam will NEVER ask you to make purchases, withdrawals, or cash transfers to fix a problem. If something feels suspicious, hang up and call your local branch immediately!
