A customer recently experienced knocking in their walls and wasn’t sure what was causing it. When I inspected their home, I found the water pressure was dangerously high at 100psi due to a faulty pressure regulator. I advised them to check pressure yearly because valves wear down over time. After replacing their pressure regulator and lowering it to a safe 65psi, the knocking stopped, and their plumbing is back to normal. Most of my work involves water heater replacements and repairs, as well as fixing leaking or burst pipes.
