How many of you know about mortgage insurance?

Mortgage insurance protects the lender in the event you fall behind on your payments, but it also might make it possible for you to qualify for a loan you may not otherwise qualify for.

However, DID YOU KNOW that if you have a conventional mortgage loan and more than 20% equity in your home, you can ask the mortgage lender to have the PMI cancelled which in turn can save you monthly on your payments!
