There’s something special about the Swallow’s Day Parade here in San Juan Capistrano.

As someone who wasn’t born here, moments like this mean even more to me. Sitting with my family, watching the parade go by, seeing the kids light up—I’m reminded how grateful I am to be part of this community.

I don’t take it lightly. I truly believe the life we’re able to build, the opportunities we’re given, and the people we’re surrounded by are blessings from God.

Days like this are a reminder of what really matters… faith, family, and the freedom to build a meaningful life.

And honestly, that’s why I do what I do.

Financial planning isn’t really about spreadsheets or markets—it’s about being a good steward of what we’ve been given and protecting the life you’re building for the people you love.

I feel incredibly blessed to serve families in a community that has given so much to mine.

We were honored to welcome a special guest speaker to our small group this week, Saddleback Church's own Finance Ministry Lead Volunteer Ron Minekimine.

In addition to sharing from Scripture, he drew from his successful career in the commercial lending industry, where he worked as a Christian in a Jewish bank. He spoke candidly about the tension he often felt between pursuing new clients and faithfully stewarding existing accounts—especially when customers were tempted to renege on the terms of their loan agreements.

His message powerfully connected faith and work, reminding us that integrity, perseverance, and trust in God are essential whether we’re navigating business pressures or spiritual growth. We’re so grateful for the wisdom and real-world insight he shared with our group!

As I continue building my presence here, I wanted to highlight a cause that means a great deal to me.

I previously had the opportunity to sponsor a fundraiser supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. The work they do for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias is truly inspiring.

From advancing critical research to providing education and support resources, their impact reaches countless lives every day.
