June 15th is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The Senior Center will be hosting a lunch event on Monday June 16th beginning at 11:15am, and they encourage those joining them to wear purple in recognition of the importance of this day.

If someone you know is experiencing elder abuse, contact your local Job and Family Services office!

To the folks we have in Tuscarawas County, please be aware of a recent scam alert issued by the Tuscarawas County Health Department!

Scam Notice (6/11/25): A scam caller with caller ID of, “Dover-Phila Health,” has been reportedly calling Tuscarawas County residents from a “330” number to talk about Medicare and ask for personal information. This call is NOT from the Tuscarawas County Health Department. Please do not share your personal information.

The Coshocton library is featuring information on Alzheimer's by partnering with the Alzheimer's Association! This program can benefit individuals and caregivers alike. To register, follow the instructions in their post!

Join us next Friday afternoon for a community education partnership program with the Alzheimer's Association. 💜 Learn about research into the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

For over 40 years, hot air balloons have been floating over the hills and valleys of Coshocton County. Food vendors, kiddie rides, craft booths, musical entertainment, children’s activities, fireworks, night glow, and hot air balloon launches (weather permitting) are all part of this FREE event!
