The 2026 Social Security Trustees Report has been released, providing an updated look at the financial status and long-term outlook of the Social Security program.

Among the report's key findings:

• The combined OASI and DI trust funds are projected to pay full scheduled benefits through 2034.

• The OASI Trust Fund alone is projected to become depleted in the fourth quarter of 2032, one quarter earlier than projected in last year's report.

• If no legislative action is taken, the combined OASDI trust funds would be able to pay 83% of scheduled benefits beginning in 2034.
