Firefighter rehab is not a luxury—it's a lifesaving necessity.

Whether you're responding to a large-scale incident or pushing through a demanding training, physical and mental recovery is essential. The NFPA defines rehab as a critical intervention to mitigate stress and sustain performance. It’s time we stop viewing it as optional.

Firefighters face intense physical and emotional demands. Heat stress, cardiac events, and psychological strain are real threats. Preparation, hydration, mental readiness, and knowing when to take a break can make the difference between going home or becoming a statistic.

The NYSAFC 120th Annual Conference & Expo kicks off on Wednesday, June 10 with a full day of lectures for Full Term Registrants! Exhibits will be open Thursday June 11 through Saturday, June 13. Here are few things to remember:

✅ Conference Full Term registration and One Day Tickets for the expo can be purchased at The Oncenter during event hours.

✅ Free parking will be available in The Oncenter Garage.

✅ Don't forget there are new hours for exhibits and the General Session on Thursday.
