If you were affected by the recent hail storm this past Saturday and need to file a claim with Texas Windstorm Policy (TWIA) please see the information below.
⚠️Information for TWIA Policyholders Affected by the November 1 Hailstorm⚠️
If your property was damaged in the hailstorm on Saturday night, TWIA is ready to help. You can report a claim anytime, day or night:
• Online: twia.org/claims, where you can log in to the Policyholder Portal to report or track your claim, upload photos, and send messages directly to your claims team
• Call: (800) 788-8247 and select option 1
• Chat: Use the 24-hour chat option on our claims page
• Text: “Hello” to (512) 645-2846
Have your TWIA policy number, contact details, and a description of your damage ready. Please note that TWIA cannot accept claims that are reported through email or fax.
• Take photos of all damage, make only temporary repairs to prevent further damage, and keep your receipts.
• Do not begin making permanent repairs until you and TWIA have communicated about your damage.
• Avoid unlicensed or out-of-state contractors who show up unexpectedly.
