Are you ready for gameday?!

Between the grill, coolers, vehicles, and all the gear that comes with a good tailgate, there’s a lot to think about before kickoff. But have you thought about safety and insurance?

Here are a few things to keep in mind before game day:

A beneficiary is the person, people, or organization you choose to receive the life insurance benefit when you pass away.

For many people, that’s a spouse, child, or another family member. You can also name a trust or certain organizations, depending on your policy.

One important thing to remember: choosing a beneficiary isn’t a “set it and forget it” decision. Life changes. Marriage, divorce, children, or other major life events may mean it’s time to review who you have listed.

FACT: It’s not always that simple. Determining fault can take time, and the other driver may not have enough insurance, or any insurance at all.
