A little First Command History:
First Command has been helping military and civilian families since 1958. Payne while he was on active duty in the Air Force as a pilot. Then, the company was called United Services Investment Association Incorporated, with a name change to USPA&IRA in 1970 and finally to First Command in 2001. I first became a USPA&IRA client in 1989 when my husband, James, and I w
ere first starting out. We were stationed in Fort Drum, New York and were newly married and just starting our family. I started to work with First Command in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant, as an Office Manager in 2015 and as a Financial Advisor in Wichita Falls, Texas in 2017. I saw the opportunity to serve a population that I greatly respect. I jumped at the chance to become a Financial Advisor to military families.
