What is your role at Grove and Davis?
- Originally, I was a personality hire, but it turned out I was more useful than anyone else expected! But in reality, I am an Insurance and Bond Producer. I help clients with everything from their personal home insurance to their intricate business insurance needs.

How long have you been in insurance?
- It’s hard to believe, but I have been in the industry for over 7 years now. I came back to the US after living overseas for a few years, and insurance was the first job I was offered. I’m happy that it’s turned into a career that I actually enjoy doing.

Why should I pick Grove and Davis insurance?
- In a world of big-box insurance providers, finding an agency that still has a personal touch is rare. At Grove and Davis, we really do care about our clients and helping them navigate the world of insurance. To us, you’re more than just another policy. Most drivers multitask on the road. Most drivers also believe they are good at it. There is new research showing that those beliefs don't match up, and it puts you at risk.

Mercury Insurance surveyed drivers regarding 27 common distracted behaviors. For example, checking navigation to eating and making phone calls. The results do show a habit problem hiding in plain sight, according to the Mercury Insurance report (Mercury, 2026).

How did you get into insurance?
- A friend in high school talked me into taking a vocational office education class. They found me a job in insurance, and I stuck with it!

What is the most unusual insurance quote you have worked on?
- We once quoted a policy for a museum that would cover cancellation of an event due to rain. We had to work with the customer to determine how much rain would cause the event to cancel. Unfortunately, they did not buy the policy!

What is the largest claim event you have seen?
1. A freeze in the 80’s over Christmas. Many people were out of town and couldn’t prepare, so their pipes burst. At that time, we hand-wrote loss notices so it was an extremely busy time.
2. Hurricane Harvey – we had no internet or phones to talk to customers, and just so much damage.

What do you do at Grove & Davis?
- I’m a Commercial Insurance Producer. It’s my job to make sure you have the right protection without paying for coverage you don’t need. I shop multiple insurance companies to find the best combination of price, coverage, and service for your business.

Why did you choose insurance?
- I owned a FedEx ISP business for nine years, so I know what it's like to run a company. Now I get to combine the two and use that experience to help other business owners protect theirs.

What's your goal with every customer?
- To make insurance simple, answer every question, and be someone my customers know they can call anytime.
