As featured speakers during the symposium, Jimmy and Gilbert represented the South Texas General Office with professionalism, leadership, and a deep commitment to developing the Latino market across New York Life. Their insights, experience, and willingness to share best practices created meaningful impact for the agents and managers who traveled from offices across the company to attend.

We’re proud to celebrate the impact of giving back in our communities 💙

Through New York Life’s Volunteer for Good Foundation, the South Texas General Office has awarded a grant to San Juan IDEA School’s Track & Field Program—an initiative led by Financial Professional Isabel Ramirez alongside Team Jimenez.

This dedicated track and cross country team depends on fundraisers and donations to cover essential costs like meet entry fees, meals, and equipment for both local and out-of-state competitions. Isabel and her team didn’t just secure funding—they also personally supported the athletes by providing meals during their regional meet just two weeks ago.

Thanks to these combined efforts, Coach Ray shared that 26 student-athletes have qualified for state regionals—an incredible achievement. He expressed deep gratitude, noting how this support will help ease the financial burden and allow the team to focus on competing at their best.

Moments like this reflect what the Volunteer for Good Foundation is all about—empowering communities, supporting youth, and making a lasting difference where it matters most.
