Buc Days grew out of the bathing beauty contest and picnic called “Splash Days” occurring on North Beach each year. In 1938, the newly formed, Buccaneer Commission, decided to st

age a bigger and more elaborate celebration based on the history and legend of the days of long ago when pirate ships haunted the waters of the Gulf and preyed on merchantmen.

Buc Days Steak Night presented by Flint Hills Resources is almost here!

Good food, live music and a night out at the ranch. Grab your crew and join us October 24 at Dancing Elk Alexander Ranch!

Proceeds support the Coastal Bend Kids Buyers Group providing 4-H and FFA livestock projects at the County Stock Show with the means to fund their next project, advance their livestock operation, and contribute to their education fund.
