We made the list… AGAIN. 🎉

Steward Risk is on the Inc. 5000 for the second year in a row — No. 441 in the country, No. 4 in San Antonio, No. 11 in insurance, and No. 59 in Texas.

Five years ago we set out to build a modern brokerage: top talent, better technology, and the independence to do right by our clients. Today that means serving middle-market construction, energy, manufacturing, marine, and real estate companies out of our San Antonio and Corpus Christi offices — and doing it well enough that Inc. has now called us one of the fastest-growing companies in America two years running.

What we didn't fully appreciate at the start is how much of it would come down to who we hired. So this one goes to our employees. Our team is the entire reason this company grows — they do the hard, unglamorous work behind every renewal, every claim, every client who sleeps better because their coverage is right. Thank you for building this with us.

And thank you to the clients and partners who keep betting on us. Grateful today, and already thinking about next year. 🙏

Welcome to the Team, Trista Banister!

With nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Trista has built her career around two things that go hand in hand: exceptional client service and the teams that deliver it.

Trista has been a driving force behind consistent 25%+ year-over-year agency growth — achieved through a relentless focus on client retention, strengthening carrier relationships, and developing high-performing service teams. Her background spans both the production and service sides of the business, giving her a well-rounded perspective that few bring to the table.

She holds both her Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses through the Texas Department of Insurance, and leads with a philosophy rooted in integrity and positivity — creating environments where people feel supported, motivated, and accountable. She knows that inspired teams deliver exceptional client experiences, and she builds accordingly.

Please join us in welcoming Trista to the Steward Risk family! 👏
