11/29/2022 -- FHFA ANNOUNCES CONFORMING LOAN LIMITS FOR 2023

​​​​​Washington, D.C. – The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) today announced the conforming loan limits (CLLs) for mortgages to be acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the Enterprises) in 2023. In most of the United States, the 2023 CLL value for one-unit properties will be $726,200, an increase of $79,000 from $647,200 in 2022.

Highest Mortgage Rates in Nearly 2 Years

Seemingly overnight, the mortgage rate narrative has changed rather drastically, at least in relative terms. While rates had risen gradually from near-all-time lows in August, they were still in a historically low range by the end of December. A week later and we're at the highest levels in 2 years.

There's a change happening with how people are using mortgage loans and you should know about it.

People are making money in a very different ways than before. And most of the traditional loans don't yet know how to deal with them. New loan programs are making it possible to buy and refinance without all of the previous hoops and ridiculous guidelines.

If you make money in a non-traditional way or you've experienced a life event that has impacted your income, PM me.

🚨IMPORTANT!🚨 On Monday, October 25th, my office, Councilmember Edwards, and partners from the City of Riverside Planning Department will be hosting a virtual workshop on Accessory Dwelling Units.

Known as ADUs, Accessory Dwelling Units are smaller self-contained housing units located on the same lot as another home.

There have been many questions about how state legislation and local ordinances correlate to ADU building and this workshop will be the place to ask these question and learn more on the topic. Please join us!
