I was born and raised in Habersham County. I have been heavily involved in the community since I graduated school in 2003. By formerly working in the financial service industry in Cornelia, I know a lot of local families within the community. The most enjoyable part of our town is that it is easy living, we call it God’s Country. I’m proud to be part of the community that supports everyone, small

business owners and local farmers. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Farming and working outside in the yard and around the farm are one of my favorite interests. I'm also an avid outdoorsman.

Some of my favorite places and activities are going out of Friday nights during the fall, you can bet that everyone in the community is going to be under the lights supporting their local high school football team. We are tucked into the Chattahoochee National Forest and there is plenty of hiking trails in our town. My family consists of Jessica my wife and Ansley my daughter. I’m actually the 5th generation to live here and reside in Mount Airy from my mother’s side, the Ansley Family. Some charities I support is Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Circle of Hope and Habit for Humanity.

I became an Allstate agent, because I enjoy helping people. As an Allstate agent, I can assist the customer with how to properly insure their home, auto and loved ones in a manner that saves them money as well. The most enjoyable part of my job is the fulfillment that I can help someone out at the end of the day. Today is a very special day at The Barrett Agency!

Please join me in congratulating Ashley English on her 10-Year Work Anniversary with our agency and her promotion to Agency Manager!

Over the past decade, Ashley has been a tremendous asset to our team, our customers, and our agency. Her dedication, work ethic, leadership, and commitment to helping others have played a major role in the success and growth of The Barrett Agency.

Ashley has built lasting relationships with our customers, mentored team members, and consistently gone above and beyond to help our agency serve thousands of households throughout Georgia. Her passion for taking care of people and finding solutions is something I deeply appreciate and admire.

As Ashley celebrates 10 years with our agency, I am also excited to announce her promotion to Agency Manager. In this role, Ashley will serve as the agency’s second-in-command and help lead our team as we continue to grow and serve our community.

Not quite.

In most cases, insurance follows the vehicle, not the driver. That means if you lend your car to a friend, family member, or neighbor and they’re involved in an accident, your auto policy is typically the primary coverage.

While their driving record generally won’t impact yours, the claim can still appear on your insurance history and could affect future premiums.
