To all future homebuyers or those in the market:
This current moment in the housing market is not one to sleep on. With interest rates continuing to drop lower and lower, the price of buying a home is also trending in the same direction. This sounds like great news, but there will eventually be a fault to this.
Although the homebuyer hasn't been in this advantageous of a position in years, this will not last forever. As interest rates drop, the demand in the housing market will rise, which has the potential to dramatically raise the prices of homes. This increase in price may affect the monthly cost of owning a house more than the benefit of waiting for that interest rate to drop even lower, which isn't even guaranteed.
In the end, you should decide when you are ready to make the decision to tackle a mortgage, but I feel it is my responsibility to inform all of you who are looking into home ownership that this current moment is the one where I would take action.
