Kind Hearts Bloom
I had the honor of learning about this super cool non-profit in the early stages. Now this organization runs like a fine machine and is bringing pollinator and gardening education to Grand Rapids. A great place to volunteer or participate in a class. Neighbors are volunteering their yard space to help save the bees and add beauty while having the support of Kind Hearts Bloom. Super cool, right?

Native trees are crucial in supporting early-emerging pollinators, including bees and butterflies, often providing the first nectar and pollen sources of the year. The foliage of native trees serve as a larval host for numerous butterfly and moth species (Serviceberries support over 100 species of insect!)

Here’s some of our favorite small to medium native trees to plant in residential yards:

-American Plum (Prunus americana)
-Serviceberry (Amelanchier sp.)
-Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis)
-Flowering Dogwood (Cronus florida)
-P***y Willow (Salix discolor)
-Pagoda Dogwood (Cornus alternifloria)

Bringing flowers into your space can be an unmatched mood boost and gift. Mandi has the greenest of thumbs and the kindest of souls. Take a gander at the lovely bouquets she creates, I've never had flowers last so long in my home.

I have a friend and genius in Che Angela Morris. If you have ever wondered what massage and bodywork would be like if the therapist was an engineer of the body, look no further. The healing that has been introduced by Che's practice is amazing.

Beginning Monday, May 18, 2026 I will start seeing all clients in my new office at Trinity Chiropractic!

The Well Being, Counseling and Fitness Center @ The Well Being Foundation

Join me tonight to watch this business put on THE wiffle ball tournament of the year to support their mission.

The Well Being team was there for me as I struggled with grief. Their philosophy of exercise and movement as a part of mental healing was just what the doctor ordered. Tonight's fundraiser will go toward free mental health support and programs. If you're looking for an extra ear and support, give this team a call.
