We’d like to inform our clients that Safeco Insurance has officially been rebranded under Liberty Mutual.

If your Insurance Carrier was previously Safeco, you may now begin seeing Liberty Mutual on your policy documents, billing, or correspondence. Your policy and coverage are generally not affected by this change.

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted on our social media, so here’s an update from our Agency! 👋

📍 Office Update
We have officially relocated our office to C**n Rapids(10077 Dogwood St NW) and are no longer operating out of our Brooklyn Center(2800 Freeway Blvd) office after 15 years at that location.

For face-to-face services, we are now operating by APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Most services can conveniently be handled by phone, text, or email, but we still gladly offer in-person appointments for clients who prefer that option. We appreciate the understanding and continued support from both our new and existing clients 🙂

Home Insurance rates have continued to increase across the industry over the past few years. Many companies have also increased Wind & Hail deductibles due to rising severe weather claims and repair costs nationwide.

🚗 Auto Insurance Update
Auto Insurance rates have been more stable overall compared to Home Insurance. If you’ve been continuously insured with the same carrier for several years, you may qualify for loyalty or longevity discounts depending on the company.

🏠 Replacement Cost vs. Actual Cash Value — What’s the Difference?

When it comes to home insurance, this one detail can mean thousands of dollars after a claim.

🔹 Replacement Cost (RC)
Pays to repair or replace damaged items with new ones of similar kind and quality — no depreciation deducted.

🔹 Actual Cash Value (ACV)
Pays the replacement cost minus depreciation (age and wear & tear).

💡 Example:
If your 10-year-old roof is damaged…
RC = Pays for a new roof (minus deductible).
ACV = Pays what that old roof is worth today.

Same damage. Very different payout.
