Congratulations to LeVaughnda Midgett who is our Swallows Scholars recipient for October! Ms. Midgett is the Librarian at DeKalb Middle School in Smithville. She will use the grant funds to purchase 20-30 new books to expand the library's mystery collection. In addition to the grant check, we gave her a goody bag in appreciation for all that she does as a librarian! Kelly Swallows, of Swallows Insurance, is shown presenting the grant check to Ms. Midgett and Principal Teresa Jones.
The Swallows Scholars grant is open to any teacher in Dekalb, Overton or Putnam counties and may be accessed on our website at SwallowsInsurance.com. Look for the button in the right-hand corner for a fillable form that can be submitted online.

Congratulations to Mandy Looper who is our Swallows Scholars Grant recipient for September! Ms. Looper is the Special Education teacher at Allons Elementary in Overton County. She will use the grant funds to purchase items as incentives as part of the school wide token economy system. In addition to the grant check, we gave her a goody bag in appreciation for all that she does as a teacher! Kelly Swallows, of Swallows Insurance, is shown presenting the grant check to Ms. Looper and Principal Ryan Ledbetter.
