Don’t let the smile fool you.

READ ENTIRE CAPTION.

Let me tell share with you the concept of act as if.

This picture was taken in the summer of 2011.

We have no kids. It was just & I with 2 dogs named Jimbo + Kucci.

A year & a half prior to taking this picture, I had saved up $500,000 in my 20’s. On Sept 23rd of 2009 I decided to start my own insurance company & risk all my savings.

Here’s what’s crazy about this picture. I decided to sign a $2m lease for an office that was bigger than what I needed.

I had just lost my number 1 insurance carrier. Funny story is, Years later they came back to us saying they made a mistake and they gave us an incredible offer we couldn’t refuse. The story of my life. Many people come back because the vision is real, we treat people fairly and we work our tails off.

Anyways, so that left us with only one insurance carrier. AIG.

What’s interesting about AIG is that their name was tainted at the time. So they needed us and we needed them. Super grateful for that relationship.

So here it is.

When this picture was taken I was down to my last $13,000.

Literally, only $13,000.

Jennifer didn’t know.
My staff didn’t know.
My sales leaders didn’t know.

No one knew.

One night I come home at midnight to an emotional Jennifer who was in tears.

I didn’t know until she showed me a note. She had a miscarriage. It broke my heart seeing her in tears.

One of the things I’m grateful for her is that she never ONCE questioned my vision or undermined my ambitions.

After comforting her I decided to take a quick walk. By that time, it was 1:30 in the morning.

I took a walk and started praying to God. Why am I going through all of this? Do you not want this company to make it?

Im giving my best. Im working hard. Im loyal to the vision.

I need your help. I need a miracle.

Literally, the next week I got a $100k bonus from AIG I didnt expect. I had totally forgotten about it.

The rest is history. The lesson is.

Churchill once said, “when you’re going through hell, keep going.”

And if you truly are busting your tail, improving and treating people fairly, GREAT things will happen.

Future looks bright!

There’s another social security scam on the rise — the Suspended Social Security Number Scam! As with most of these types of scams, they’ve chosen to target older Americans over the phone. They’ll usually call and tell you that your Social Security Number is suspended, or under suspicion, according to Robert Siciliano, a cybersecurity expert for ETF Managers Group in Summit, New Jersey.

"Any call that states your Social Security number is under suspension is a scam," he says. Thieves are hoping you'll be scared and turn to them when they offer help. "In reality, these scammers are trying to steal your information," Siciliano says.

Don’t fall for this scam so you can get your Social Security benefits in a timely fashion without any possible hiccups!

Follow best practices to keep your identity and savings well-protected.

With the economy on a rollercoaster lately, is this the right time to make your retirement income plan? With the Fed lowering its key interest rate, should you wait until the rates are raised? For more info, click the link in my bio and let’s talk.

As you design your retirement income plan, you might think that the Fed's cut in interest rates will force you to switch gears. But remember: Whether it's dividends, interest or annuity payments, don't try to time the market.
