It is with the heaviest of hearts that I'm making this post. This past week my Dad passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully.

My mom, brother, and I were all able to be with him in his final moments & for that I will be forever grateful.

Dad was the kind of man who loved his family fiercely, welcomed everyone as if they were his own, and could turn any ordinary moment into a celebration. His laughter, his love, and his strong presence will be missed more than words can say.

We are having celebration of life service on October 12th @ 2PM.

Following the service, we’ll gather for refreshments, sharing of memories, and a true celebration of Dad’s life.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to honor his memory, we ask that you consider donating to Summer's SafeHaven Animal Rescue Inc. — a cause close to Dad's hearts.

So Stafford asked tonight if he could shave his head next weekend with me. You may not want to donate to mine, but you can’t beat donating to a 6 year old. A boy wanting to make a difference is life changing.
