28 was a year I really focused on being my most genuine self. Having a son and a wife have made me realize that my pursuit of becoming the best version of myself is more important than ever. I want to be the best father, husband, co-worker, friend, brother, and human I can possibly be. The constant striving is a reminder that the journey is never finished and that it’s important to enjoy the ride every step of the way.

From this pursuit I feel myself being closer to my circle than ever before. I’ve strengthened bonds with family members and friends because I no longer focused on being something I wasn’t. I got to be myself wholly and both brought people that have a similar energy into my life and removed others that don’t share that energy. To my friends and family that continue to stick it out with me, I love you all and I wouldn’t be here without ya.

TLDR; be yourself, it’s a hell of a lot easier than trying to be anyone else. Cheers to what the next 12 months bring.
