Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Derrick McCarley My father once told me a story about how he had saved all his lunch money for an entire school year. What did he do with those funds? But we're not alone.

After months of expected interest rate cuts, the Federal Reserve is shifting its focus back to managing inflation. This "higher-for-longer" interest rate environment may present compelling opportunities in short-term fixed income, while equities can continue to be supported by strong and broadening earnings growth. Brian Therien, Investment Strategist, explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

I’ve been working on getting back into the gym more consistently lately, and it’s reminded me of an important lesson that applies to both fitness and investing:
Results rarely come from one great workout or one great investment decision. They come from showing up consistently over time.

In the gym, it’s easy to know what to do. The challenge is having the discipline to do it week after week. Investing is much the same. Long-term success is often less about finding the perfect stock or timing the market and more about sticking to a disciplined plan through all kinds of market conditions.

Thankfully, I’ve been much better at disciplined investing than disciplined workouts over the years. The market has benefited from my consistency more than the squat rack has.

Whether you’re building strength or building wealth, the formula is surprisingly similar: establish a plan, trust the process, and stay consistent even when progress feels slow.

Small actions repeated over time can produce remarkable results.
