Congratulations on a job well done!

Last night we recognized a special milestone as Micheal Walding, our 2024-2026 MCFA President, chaired his final meetings in this role.

Micheal’s leadership, dedication and passion for the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo have helped strengthen our organization and create lasting opportunities for the youth of Montgomery County. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and heart he has poured into our fair.

We also want to welcome our incoming 2027-2029 MCFA President Glen Koy and wish him the best as he leads our organization to continue championing the youth of Montgomery County.

Hurricane season is officially underway, and the best time to prepare is now.

When a hurricane is on its way, stores quickly run low on water, batteries, generators, fuel, and other essential supplies. Taking a few simple steps today can help reduce stress and keep your family safe if severe weather threatens our area later this season.

I've attached a hurricane supply kit checklist based on guidance from the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and Ready.gov. Take a few minutes to review your emergency supplies, update your kit, and make sure your family is prepared.

A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow. Stay safe, stay informed, and have a great summer, Senate District 4. 🇺🇸
