💰 One thing we wish more people understood about money: financial education can change how you feel about your finances.

When you understand where your money is going, what you’re working toward, and what choices you have, you can make decisions with more confidence and less uncertainty.

We’ve seen how getting organized and simply understanding the basics can help people feel more in control—not because everything suddenly becomes easy, but because clarity gives you a place to start.

Money touches so many parts of life, from everyday decisions to major milestones.

What’s one financial lesson that has made a difference in your life? 👇

💡 Tip Tuesday | The Benefits of Knowing Your Numbers
When your finances feel overwhelming, clarity can be a huge first step.
Taking the time to understand your income, expenses, debts, and goals can give you:
💰 A tangible benefit: A clearer picture of where your money is going and what needs your attention.
🧠 An intangible benefit: More confidence and less stress when making financial decisions.
You don't have to change everything overnight.
Start by getting organized. Then take one step at a time.
👉 What would give you the most financial clarity right now: your budget, your debt, your savings, or your goals?

“I feel overwhelmed by my finances. Where do I even start?”

Start with clarity—not perfection.

You don’t have to fix everything at once. Start by taking a simple snapshot of where you are right now:

1️⃣ Know what’s coming in — What is your monthly income?
2️⃣ Know what’s going out — What are your regular expenses?
3️⃣ Know what you owe — List your debts and payments.
4️⃣ Pick ONE priority — What is the most important thing you want to improve right now?

Once you can see the picture, it becomes much easier to decide what to work on first.

💡 You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the first step.

What feels most overwhelming right now—budgeting, saving, debt, or simply knowing where your money is going?

👋 Saturday | Financial Fun Fact

Did you know? One of the simplest money habits is to pay yourself first.

Here’s a financial fun fact from Jason:

If you earn $25/hour and made a habit of setting aside the equivalent of just one hour of pay each workday:
💵 $25/day
× 5 days/week
= $125/week
× 52 weeks
= $6,500/year

The bigger lesson isn't necessarily the $6,500—it’s the habit of paying yourself first.

So often, we pay the bills, cover the expenses, spend what's left…and then hope there’s something remaining to save at the end of the month.

Instead, what if saving became something you intentionally did before the rest of your money found somewhere else to go?

It's a small shift in thinking:
Don't save what's left after spending.
Make saving part of the plan from the beginning.

💬 Here's our question for you:
If you automatically set aside an extra $125 a week, what would you want that money working toward?

🏡 A future goal?
💳 Paying down debt?
💰 Building savings?
🎓 Education?
🌴 Retirement?

🧠 Life Insurance Awareness Month

And just like that… September is over!

We’ve spent the month talking about life insurance, asking questions, and encouraging you to take a closer look at the coverage you already have.

The biggest takeaway?

You don’t have to know all the answers—you just have to start asking the right questions.

❤️ Do I need it?
❤️ What kind do I have?
❤️ How much might I need?

Life changes, and your financial needs can change with it.

Life Insurance Awareness Month may be ending, but the conversation doesn’t have to.

Have a question? Drop it below or send us a message. We’re always happy to help you understand the basics.

💡 Tip Tuesday: Has Anything Changed in Your Life?
Life doesn’t stay the same....and your financial needs may change right along with it.

You don’t necessarily have to wait for a major life event to review your life insurance coverage, but certain changes can be a great reminder to take another look.

Think about the last few years:

💍 Got married or divorced?
👶 Had a child or grown your family?
🏡 Bought a home?
💰 Had a significant change in income?
💳 Taken on or paid off major debt?
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Have your family’s needs changed?

The goal isn't simply to have a number on a piece of paper—it’s to understand what you currently have and whether your coverage still reflects your current circumstances.

👉 Quick check-in: Has anything changed in your life since you last reviewed your coverage?

Comment YES if it’s time to take another look. 👇

💰 Money Monday: One Intentional Decision

Your journey to financial success starts with one intentional decision today.
Sometimes that decision is simply taking a few minutes to ask better questions.
Since September has been Life Insurance Awareness Month, here are 3 questions worth asking yourself:

1️⃣ Do I really need life insurance?
2️⃣ What kind is right for my situation?
3️⃣ How much coverage might I need?

You don’t have to figure everything out today. But understanding your current situation is an intentional step forward.

👉 How many of these 3 questions could you confidently answer today?
Drop 1, 2, or 3 in the comments!

And if you want to learn more about these three questions, message us “QUESTIONS” and we’ll send you our 3 Key Questions to Ask About Life Insurance guide.

This week we broke down a big question:

How much life insurance do I need?

And instead of starting with a number, we started with four areas to consider:

D — Debt
I — Income
M — Mortgage
E — Education

Your family’s financial picture is unique.

The goal isn’t to compare your situation to someone else’s. It’s to understand your own needs and ask the right questions.

One of the things we enjoy most about what we do is helping people turn a complicated financial question into something they can actually work through.

“How much life insurance do I need?” can feel like a really big question.

Sometimes it helps to break it down:

Debt. Income. Mortgage. Education.

That’s what DIME is all about—asking better questions and understanding your own financial picture.

What financial question have you been putting off asking?
