I’m a first generation State Farm Agent and have enjoyed working for State Farm for11 years. I previously worked for my family’s business for over 10 years prior to becoming a State Farm Agent and opening my own family business. I now enjoy working side by side with several family members including my sister-in-law as well as all of my knowledgeable team members. I hold a BS in Business Management

from California State University, Chico with a focus in Knowledge Management. I live locally in Walnut Creek where both my wife and I were born and raised. We met at Las Lomas High School and have been married for 19 blissful years. We are proud parents to three amazing children and a “mini farm” of various animals which includes a beloved Mini Australian Labradoodle. In my free time you can find me coaching my daughter’s softball or soccer teams, cheering my kids on at a swim meet, partaking in any watersport I can, taking my kids four wheeling, enjoying regular trips to Tahoe, spending time with my Sigma Chi Fraternity brothers, working out or spending time with family! The Jared Burns-Coffin State Farm Agency Office in Concord opened in 2014 and our Walnut Creek Office opened in 2020. Today is National Fire Pup Day! What better time to recognize State Farm's very own arson dog training program? Since 1993, State Farm has funded the acquisition and training of 360+ teams of arson dogs across America. These talented dogs are trained to sniff out any traces of accelerants that could be used to intentionally start a fire. Put your paws up for these pups!
