Dispatchers assigned to our Emergency Communications & Operations Center (ECO) serve as the critical link between the public and first responders by answering 911 calls, coordinating emergency resources, and helping keep our communities safe around the clock.

This is a challenging and rewarding career for individuals who remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and are committed to public service.

What an excellent two days at the Michigan Celebrates Small Business event in Lansing. The event began with great learning, break out sessions, an award of 10,000 was given to Zo's Donuts sponsored by Comcast Buisness to help them grow. The second day was a trip to the capital. It was great to see a former JDI employee Mike Harris - State Representative. who took me on a private tour. The night ended with a Black Tie Gala at the MSU Breslin Center. It was great to see how many small business people continue to grow Michigan's economy. I am proud to be a small, woman owned hispanic buisness.

What an exceptional two days celebrating at the Michigan Celebrates Small Buisness event. The two days began with a full day of learning, and celebrating small businesses. Comcast awarded a small company Zo's Donuts a 10,000 prize to continue to grow their company. There was a trip to the capital where I was able to meet up with one of my former investigators, now State Representative Mike Harris - State Representative. I was given a personal tour of the Capital building. Lastly, it was the MCSB Gala where many small businesses were given awards. It was great to see so many companies growing across Michigan. There was a substantial number of Woman Owned Businesses, which is great to see.
