We’d like to invite you to stop into our office and drop a new unwrapped toy in the Toys For Tots donation box for the children this holiday season!

We’d love to fill up the donation bins as many times as possible and we can not do that without your help!

This is a great program to ensure every child has a gift under the tree this Christmas!

If you are someone who enjoys sales, are great with people, and can learn new computer software and processes quickly, then we want you to join our fast growing agency!

You must be a self-starter! Desired candidates will have a competitive spirit and a passion for winning. This position includes the opportunity for advancement including the potential to earn renewals. Must have a Michigan property and casualty insurance license to perform the job. *We can assist you in getting this license, if you do not have it.* This opportunity is for both personal lines and commercial.

JOB DUTIES:
Develop referral sources in the community and within your own network.
Hold customer meetings to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable protection.
Follow up on new leads and process quotes.
Contact existing clients to perform insurance reviews.
Service existing and new policyholders, while recommending additional lines of insurance.
Participate in office outside marketing events.
Develop niches within commercial markets.

COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrate skill with prospecting both in person and over the phone.
Candidates must show perseverance, the ability to remain positive and maintain progress towards meeting their goals.
Experience with relevant computer software.

PAY:

The Million Meal Challenge is back for 2021!

We know that $1 donated equates to 5 meals, so even $10 makes a big difference.

Last year, we donated 1.1 million meals to the Food Bank Council of Michigan, benefitting all 83 Michigan counties.

Responsibilities:

Easily navigate multiple computer software programs
Service current policies by processing endorsements, scheduling agent reviews
Process payments, answer billing questions
Maintain relationships with, review and write additional policies for, existing clients
Assist in the production of new accounts, and retention of current accounts
Quote and rate insurance policies
Maintain and demonstrate knowledge in the insurance industry
Research and recommend new products

Qualifications:

Previous experience in insurance, finance, or other related fields in an office setting
Experience in conflict resolution
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
State of Michigan Property/Casualty Insurance License is preferred, Life/Health is good to have

Job Type: Full-time
