Have you seen a Bitcoin ATM? These machines look like traditional ATMs, but they transfer your money into cryptocurrency and are often used by fraudsters to scam consumers. The Farmers & Merchants Union Bank team which included Chris Connaughty, Kyle Raeder, Jason Strom, and Melissa Haessly, had a great time on Monday during the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation Inc.'s Annual Golf Outing! 🏌
Proceeds from this event will go towards funding various scholarships for high school seniors going on to technical colleges and two- or four-year universities at the end of the school year. We hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did! ⛳

Last Friday, FMUB employees gathered in Beaver Dam to celebrate the retirement of Pat Frankenstein and honor an incredible 48-year career in banking—all with American Bank/Farmers & Merchants Union Bank! We were honored to be joined by Rose Oswald Poels, President & CEO of the Wisconsin Bankers Association, who helped us recognize Pat for her many years of dedication and service.

Throughout her career, Pat made a lasting impact, most recently serving as American Bank's Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the AmBanc Board. She has been an integral part of the history and success of both American Bank and Farmers & Merchants Union Bank, and we are incredibly grateful for all she has done. Join us in congratulating Pat on her retirement and thanking her for 48 years of dedication, leadership, and friendship. We wish Pat all the best as she begins this exciting, and hopefully relaxing, next chapter! 🎉

As June comes to a close, we're looking back with gratitude on a great Dairy Month! 🐮🧀
Throughout the month, our team proudly supported our local agriculture and dairy communities by attending the Sauk County Dairy Breakfast (Sauk County Dairy Breakfast Community Page), the Columbia County Moo Day Brunch, (Columbia County Dairy Promotion Group) and the Dodge County Dairy Breakfast (Dodge County Dairy Promotion). In addition to volunteering, our staff handed out more than 1,500 pieces of WI string cheese in our branches to celebrate the hardworking farmers who help keep our communities thriving.
A big thank you to our employees and everyone who helped make this month's outreach such a success. Here's to continuing to support local agriculture all year long!
