Position Overview:

We help consumers who have unpaid medical bills by problem solving, negotiating, and offering solutions to resolve the unpaid debt(s). We are an industry leader who is changing the perception of collections with a leadership development track that guides our personal and professional excellence.
This role is responsible for helping as many consumers as possible get out of debt — achieved by calling consumers and helping them by offering solutions and setting up payment plans that work best for the client and consumer alike. Consultants are required to multi-task daily by managing a large book of business, calling a significant number of consumers, speaking to clients, and brainstorming with teammates to help solve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Make 180+ manual, outbound calls
per day
• Handle incoming calls, while
maintaining an acceptable outbound call pace
• Organize and manage a book of business with new accounts
added weekly
• Maintain professionalism while resolving challenging situations
• Handle multiple requests from consumers as well as clients while
properly documenting the system and providing timely follow up
when necessary
• Strong math skills to enable setting up payment plans for
consumers
• Process payments of various types over the phone
• Attend monthly team meetings to discuss and help solve issues
• Handle basic medical insurance and credit reporting questions
• Skip trace accounts with missing demographics to establish
contact as well as location information
• Communicate issues timely to Collection Leaders
• Other duties, as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Must embody all of Choice Recovery’s Core Values
• Two years of full-time work
experience
• Customer service experience
• Demonstrated a high level of responsibility.

Preferred Experience
• 2 + years of customer service/and or collections experience
• Computer proficiency
