Triangle Federal Credit Union Triangle FCU is a community based Credit Union in Mississippi serving Clay, Lowndes, and Oktibbeha counties.

Triangle Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1959 under the name of Columbus Air Force Base Federal Credit Union to serve the active and retired military personnel of CAFB. More than 60 years later, our home office remains on CAFB where we proudly continue serving those who serve. Beginning in 1987, our field of membership was expanded to include approximately 50 select employee groups, includin

g six of the largest employers in Lowndes County: Columbus Air Force Base, Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Lowndes County employees, Weyerhaeuser Co., Baldor Electric and Steel Dynamics. Our list of select employee groups continues to grow today. In October of 2004, CAFB FCU expanded its geographical service area to include Lowndes, Clay and Oktibbeha counties. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in one of these three counties is eligible for membership. In January 2006, CAFB FCU was renamed Triangle Federal Credit Union to better reflect our ever-growing field of membership. As of 2022, TFCU has more than 15,000 members nationwide with assets exceeding $121 million. Once a member joins, their immediate family members may also join. If a member leaves a select employee group or relocates outside of our geographical service area, they may continue to enjoy the benefits of active membership for as long as they wish. ✈️ Big news! We’re excited to introduce the Triangle FCU Flight Path, our youth account program designed to support members from birth through age 25 with age‑appropriate savings, checking, and financial education.

Launching during April’s Credit Union Youth Month, the Flight Path helps young members start small and fly far, adding new tools, access, and responsibilities as they grow—from their first savings deposit all the way to financial independence. Along the way, members will enjoy fun rewards, helpful financial guidance, and engaging mascot‑themed experiences designed to make learning about money easy and safe.
