👗 Thrivent Action Team Highlight: Glass Slipper 👗

We love seeing Thrivent Action Teams bring people together for a purpose that makes a lasting impact!

Shiloh used her Thrivent Action Team to help support Glass Slipper, a local ministry that provides free prom dresses to young women in need. With a donated space ready to become a dressing and shopping area, volunteers came together to help transform it into a welcoming place where young women can find a dress and feel special for an important night.

Volunteers helped paint, lay flooring, create dressing room areas, provide furniture and supplies, and even shared a meal together while serving!

What started as an empty space is becoming a place filled with hope, dignity, and the opportunity for young women to make special memories. ❤️

🤩Thrivent Action Team Highlight: Loaves & Fishes Kids Kitchen 🤩

What happens when you combine cooking, learning, and serving others? Loaves & Fishes Kids Kitchen! ❤️

Bethany, a childcare director, wanted to give her students more than just traditional classroom learning. She created an opportunity to teach children practical food skills, build confidence in the kitchen, and discover the joy of serving others.

With the help of a Thrivent Action Team, her students were able to assemble and donate 60 kits (30 meals and 30 desserts) to a local food pantry. And this was just one part of a much bigger summer effort: 540 kits were donated Overall!!! Each kit includes the ingredients, a recipe card, and a meal-time prayer.

This project is helping children discover new foods, gain independence, and learn that they can make a difference in the lives of others—even at a young age.

We love seeing Thrivent Action Teams turn simple ideas into meaningful opportunities to learn, serve, and give back!
