September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and reminds us of the importance of hope, research, and community.🎗️

For every new financial plan delivered to a prospective client in the month of September, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation will donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.🍋

Together, we can help advance research, support families, and move closer to a world without childhood cancer.

The Great Plains District team held their monthly Client Builder a little earlier than usual this month with Labor Day just around the corner, and it was a great time as always!⭐

As a district, we had the opportunity to hear from David Darlington at Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln, where he shared valuable information on working with group insurance and business owners. He had great points that each advisor and representative could take away to better serve clients and continue professional growth.📈

On Friday, Cooper and Kalli had a great time at UNK's Blue & Gold Welcome Weekend, handing out candy, soda, and Alanis!💙💛

Students were able to stop by to spin our wheel to win a prize, enter a raffle for a chance to win a case of mini Alanis, and weigh in on some of our controversial questions, such as: "Does pineapple belong on pizza?"🍍🍕

We had a blast being part of the weekend, helping UNK kick off the start to a new school year, and getting to meet so many smiling faces!😁

Last week our Managing Director Nate traveled to Milwaukee to start a nine-month Northwestern Mutual Managing Director development program alongside more than 20 Managing Directors from across the country.✨

He had a great time connecting with Russ Walton (Lincoln Managing Director), Caleb Jump (Illinois Study Group Member), and crossing paths with Mikayla Schulte (Omaha Director of Talent Acquisition) who was there for a Women's Leadership Association Meeting.

Outside of the program, Nate got to see the Bob Uecker mural and stay at the historic Pfister Hotel.

A great start to an exciting journey filled with leadership development, new connections, and tons of learning!⭐
