Here are a few quick tips to help you prepare your home and vehicles for the upcoming weather:

🔵 Clear your gutters and downspouts: Make sure water can flow freely away from your roof and foundation.

🔵 Elevate valuables: Move important items in your garage (or basement) off the floor to protect them from potential seepage.

🔵 Secure outdoor items: Bring in or tie down patio furniture and loose garden tools that could be blown around or damaged.

🔵 Turn around, don't drown: Never drive through flooded roadways. It only takes a few inches of moving water to sweep a car away. The backroads here are notoriously flood prone, so don't tempt fate!
