Several members of our CBT team, along with 2 special family members, bundled up and braved a chilly Friday night to support the Lakeview community at the October 16th game. It was a tight matchup, but the best part was being there for local students, parents, and the traditions that make Columbus feel connected.

The night also included Band Senior Night at halftime, giving us the chance to cheer on the seniors and celebrate the commitment and talent they bring to Lakeview’s music program.

Moments like these remind us why showing up matters — whether it’s on the field, in the stands, or supporting families throughout the community.

Community, Football, and a Fun Night Together

Last Friday (October 9th), Tyler Engstrom, Anna Rudloff, Kellie Ceder, Kaden Young, and Rory Bowen spent the evening supporting the Columbus Discoverers and connecting with families at the game. We were proud to be a sponsor again this year and to show up for a community that means so much to us.

A special shoutout to Breklynn, Tyler’s daughter, who joined in on the fun — helping throw treats, cheer, and bring extra energy to the night.

Even though the final score didn’t go our way, the spirit in the stands was exactly what makes Columbus special.

Alex Taylor brings a creative, customer‑focused energy to CB&T. As a Universal Banker, she’s spent the last several years building strong relationships with both customers and coworkers — something she genuinely enjoys about her role.

Most people don’t realize she’s a lefty, and her coworkers would describe her in one word: creative. That creativity shows up in the way she approaches challenges — stepping back, taking a breath, and giving herself space to see the bigger picture. It’s a mindset that helps her learn something new from nearly every situation.

Alex believes deeply in leading with compassion. She’s the kind of person who tries to understand where others are coming from, knowing empathy can make difficult moments easier and strengthen the community she loves. Whether she’s assisting customers or collaborating with her team, that perspective guides the way she shows up every day.
