Important Notice
Recently, MTN and Orange ( telecom services) have changed their data bundle options. Before, we used to have options like 1GB for 500 FCFA, 2.5GB for 1000 FCFA, and some people even got 3.2GB for 1000 FCFA. But now, MTN and Orange have dropped their options. Now it's like 850MB for 500 FCFA, 1.8GB for some people, and even less than that for 1000 FCFA. So the options have changed drastically.
I believe the reason for this is that MTN and Orange want people to pay more attention to their systems. They want a certain level of traffic – like normal activations. But because of the good deals, people no longer pay attention to activating their services properly since it is an easy method to just go to a call box and do your normal activations. You get it?
Another reason I believe these changes are happening is that MTN wants to stop the issue of people borrowing a lot. A lot of people have borrowed up to 5000, 10,000 FCFA from their credit accounts and don't even want to pay it back. And that's because they know they can always come and get a good deal – which is direct activations into their phones.
