This foundational principle of "People Helping People" led to the growth of Centra Credit Union and is still at the center of who we are.

Centra Credit Union began when eight employees of the Cummins Engine Company came together to find a convenient place to save their hard-earned money while having access to low-cost credit. As a not-for-profit financial institution, our profits go back to you in the form of cash rewards, better rates, and lower fees. When you open an account at Centra, you become one of the owners of the Credit Union. Centered Around You: that’s the Centra promise. It’s about the relationships we have with our Members and the fact that our Members are the reason for everything we do.

AI is smart. Really smart. It can clone voices and create convincing impersonations of loved ones asking for money or help.

Take these quick, simple steps today to help protect yourself:
1. Create a safe word only your household knows.
2. Hang up and call your loved one directly.
3. Let unknown numbers go to voicemail.
4. Never rush to send money. Scammers rely on panic and urgency.

Always verify before acting! Taking even just 90 seconds could save you from falling victim.
