🍎💜 TEACHER SPOTLIGHT 💜🍎Meet Summer Almedia from Weimar Junior High – winner of $250 in our first-ever Together for Teachers 2025! 🏆

Summer never planned on teaching… she thought coaching might be her thing! With a degree in Counseling & Addiction Recovery Sciences (and a minor in Psychology), her heart has always been about helping people — kids, families, communities, anyone facing challenges. But life (and her mom, her faith, and one amazing coach) kept pointing her back to the classroom. Those teachers and coaches who built her character, showed compassion, and changed her life? She wanted to be THAT person for someone else ❤️

From Weimar → Lubbock → and now back home teaching at WJH, Summer is living her calling — advocating, guiding, and making a real difference every day!

Thank you, Summer, for coming home to inspire the next generation of Wildcats! 🐾✨
