This is long overdue, but we are thrilled to officially introduce to you the powerhouse behind Team Dollar. To keep up with the growth and ensure every client gets a 5-star service, we've made some exciting moves behind the scenes:

Kennedy Thornton – Promoted to Branch Operations Manager!
Kennedy previously supported Drew Lingo and I as our Production Partner. Because of the growth she helped drive, promoting her was an easy choice. Kennedy is ultra talented, an incredible leader, and truly the nucleus of our branch. In this new role, she will be keeping operations running flawlessly by managing the pipeline and developing team members.

Marci Norris - My New Production Partner!
Marci joined the team earlier this year and has seamlessly stepped into this role. She is lovable, deeply reliable, and growing so much each day. She's already making a huge impact by helping manage lead intake and structuring loans.

The right people are in the right seats on this team, and we are excited to continue to provide the best mortgage experience possible.

Last closing of 2025 with this incredible family (outside of being Bama fans). Everyone knows you cannot close a VA loan in 21 days, with Christmas in the middle, without everyone in the transaction being on point, and that’s exactly what this transaction was! Great job all around team.

Closing day for some of my longtime friends. Claudia and I worked at Chickfila together, and Matthew and I have become real estate partners. During that time of my transition into real estate from CFA, Claudia and Matthew met and are now married. What a small, yet massive world.

November Dollar Team Realtor of the Month awards go to the incredible duo, Norman Hardman & Dr Shanta Joyner! Shanta has been a work horse crushing real estate while also working full time in school administration.

Norman and I met around the time we both got into the real estate business. We were very similar and had similar beliefs about faith, life, and business. It’s been a blast growing together personally and professionally the last 3+ years. We still learn from each other and pour into each other weekly.

Direct, but true post from my sauna thoughts this morning. This post is to lift up our local lending community because there are many incredible, local mortgage lenders in our market.

In 2024, over 65% of home buyers were unhappy with their home buying experience. Don’t become a part of the statistic with such an easy decision to choose local.

Realtors - Protecting your client on the financing side is your responsibility as an agent because it is a direct extension of the experience with you. A bad lending experience will likely lead to you losing future repeat and referral business.
