A new marriage opens up a 60 day enrollment period to get Health insurance in place. If you miss this window, it may be a while before you can apply. Stay on top of the timeline and make sure you're covered!

If you've recently welcomed a new baby or are expecting one soon, you may be looking at a Qualifying Life Event. This means you won't need to wait until Open Enrollment if you and your baby are without Health Insurance. You've only got a 60 day window to get this locked in, so make sure to act quick!

This month, the Biden administration once again extended the public health emergency that currently has a freeze on the Medicaid program. If your family has benefited from this freeze, you won't see a change for the next couple of months!

This puts mid July as the earliest the freeze might lift, with a promise of 60 days notice from the administration. If not renewed in July, you may find yourself losing Medicaid coverage if your eligibility has changed. Make sure you use this time to plan your next move in the health insurance space so you aren't taken off guard.
