Very Proud of you, Margi! Congratulations!

The Citizens Bank is proud to announce that Margi Fleming, Chief Administrative Officer, has been appointed Vice Chair of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Emerging Leaders Council, a national leadership position representing some of the banking industry's most promising and influential professionals.

The ABA Emerging Leaders Council is comprised of bankers from across the United States who are committed to advancing the banking industry through leadership development, advocacy, innovation, and collaboration. As Vice Chair, Fleming will help guide the council's initiatives while working alongside banking leaders from across the country to strengthen the future of community banking.

"Margi has a genuine passion for community banking and for investing in people," said Tommy Bouchette, President of The Citizens Bank. "This appointment is a wonderful recognition of the leadership she has demonstrated throughout her career, and we are proud to see her represent The Citizens Bank and South Carolina in this important national role."

Fleming has been with The Citizens Bank since 2006 and currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer, providing executive leadership for human resources, marketing, facilities, and strategic initiatives. Throughout her career, she has been an advocate for leadership development, employee engagement, financial education, and strengthening community banking.

"I am deeply honored to serve as Vice Chair of the ABA Emerging Leaders Council," Fleming said. "What makes this council so special is not only the caliber of leaders it brings together, but the genuine culture of collaboration, encouragement, and shared purpose. It is a privilege to work alongside bankers from across the country who are passionate about advocating for our industry, developing future leaders, and ensuring community banks continue to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve."

Fleming will continue serving in her leadership role at The Citizens Bank while representing the bank and the state of South Carolina on the national stage through the American Bankers Association.

The Citizens Bank congratulates Margi on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to the continued leadership and perspective she will bring to both the bank and the banking industry.

Thank you South Carolina Attorney General, Alan Wilson, for joining the bipartisan letter urging the FCC to stop illegal calls by strengthening "know your customer" requirements. Banks spend billions to protect consumers from scams - voice service providers must do their part.
