Over 40 credit union teammates from the Association’s Western Maryland Chapter came together for a bowling tournament this past week. Everyone brought great energy and came dressed to impress in some creative costumes!

Prizes were awarded for:

Leaders from the Association’s Baltimore, DC, Suburban, and Western Maryland Chapters, along with the Delaware Network, came together to explore how we can collaborate more closely, strengthen member participation, and create new opportunities for engagement.

Proud to see our Manager of Training & Events, Chrystal Hunter, take the stage at the African-American Credit Union Coalition's Annual Conference.

Chrystal joined a panel of young professionals, who received the AACUC's 2022 Commitment to Change Award, to reflect on how the recognition has influenced their personal and professional journeys. Panelists also revealed the advice they would give to their younger selves and to the next generation of leaders.

Chrystal shared a sentiment that really resonates with her: “Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.”

A thoughtful reminder of the importance of being prepared when opportunity comes your way.

The Maryland & DC Credit Union Association and The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates announced today that our Boards of Directors have signed a letter of intent to pursue a potential merger.

This marks the beginning of a thoughtful process to explore how we can build on our shared commitment to advocacy and exceptional member service while expanding the resources and support available to credit unions.

Any potential merger will be subject to a comprehensive due diligence process, as well as approval by both organizations' Boards of Directors and membership.
