Members of both the MD|DC Credit Union Association and The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates have officially approved the merger of our organizations.

Beginning January 1, 2027, the combined organization will serve credit unions across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, strengthening advocacy, expanding access to resources, and creating new opportunities to deliver value to members.

Thank you to our members for their engagement, insight, and support throughout this process. We look forward to building on the strengths of both organizations and advancing our shared commitment to helping credit unions thrive.

Happy International Credit Union Day!

Credit unions make a difference every day, and today, that impact is getting recognized by Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Delaware Governor Matt Meyer.

They issued official proclamations declaring October 15, 2026, as Credit Union Day in Maryland and Delaware.

These proclamations recognize credit unions as vital contributors to their states’ economies and celebrate their ongoing commitment to improving the financial well-being of members, families, and communities. Thank you to Governors Moore and Meyer for their continued support!

Taking a swing fore a good cause tonight!

Team Nymeo Federal Credit Union & Team Maryland & DC Credit Union Association joined the Suburban Chapter at TopGolf to support the credit union movement's charity of choice, Children's Miracle Network hospitals. No team trophies for us -- but we had lots of spirit!

A little friendly competition tonight at the Suburban Chapter's TopGolf Fundraiser benefitting Children's Miracle Network. The big winners of the coveted tiny trophies were team Educational Systems Federal Credit Union for the highest overall score, Latoya Joaquin from Educational Systems Federal Credit Union as the women's champ and Michael Wood with Nymeo Federal Credit Union as the men's champ. Thanks to Suburban Chapter Chair Nymeo Federal Credit Union CEO Vicki Johnston for serving as our presenter!

Over 40 credit union teammates from the Association’s Western Maryland Chapter came together for a bowling tournament this past week. Everyone brought great energy and came dressed to impress in some creative costumes!

Prizes were awarded for:
