🏦💵📈 THE FED HOLDS RATES STEADY FOR THE FOURTH MEETING OF 2025

The Federal Reserve has maintained its “sit-and-wait” approach when it comes to any federal funds rate cuts, leaving it between its current rate of 4.25%-4.50%. This is the fourth time this year that the Fed has maintained rates, succeeding three rate cuts in late 2024.

With steady unemployment, strong consumer spending, and solid business activity, there are no immediate signs of an economic slowdown. Inflation remains a key focus, as projections for inflation, unemployment, and GDP growth were slightly raised. Still, the Fed remains confident in its current decision to hold off on changes, continuing to monitor conditions closely.
