Low credit scores won't keep you from purchasing a home, of course the better your credit the easier it is, but DTI (debt to income ratios) are a big factor as well.

Starting tomorrow, VA appraisals should no longer call out:
1. Peeling paint on homes built in 1978 or newer
2. Repairs on non livable outbuildings
3. Radon
But some still will.
Appraisers are human.
Underwriters are human.
Not everyone gets the memo right away.
