orado offers loans for real estate, farm and ranch operating lines, equipment and livestock. We serve over 1,300 customers in 31 counties in Southern Colorado. These customers cover all types of agricultural operations from small local food producers to the largest crop and livestock producers. The Farm Credit System is the only major agricultural lender that is owned by its members and governed by a board of local, elected directorship. One of the most important financial benefits of being a Farm Credit member-borrower is our borrowers have the opportunity to share in the Association’s profits through our patronage program. The patronage program is a way of returning some of the profits of our successful operation to our members. Over the past five years, Farm Credit of Southern Colorado has returned almost $16 million to our members. Our latest episode of We Farm This Land is now live!

This episode is titled, "Coffee at Grandma's" and is the final episode featuring the McMurry Family. In this episode, Molly and Connie discuss how family has shaped their entire legacy and is at the heart of what they do. Molly and Connie do an amazing job in sharing this impactful story, and we are excited to highlight them specifically as part of 2026 International Year of the Woman Farmer.
