Sure as long as that choice only includes its hospital system. This is the proper use of regulatory oversight. Yeah for consumers!

SEC to PBM's: "It is unclear why you believe accounts receivable from pharmaceutical manufacturers are a component of customer receivables considering that pharmaceutical manufacturers do not appear to be your customers," it said (emphasis ours).
The opacity of pricing has long been all PBM's major problem. It will be interesting how this will play out. Pharma and PBM's are at the very top of political contributors to Congress. The fact there are even questions being asked publicly is a good start.

Interesting article. You always have to remember you are dealing with Humans in Human Resources.

Employees love benefits. They like to feel valued and appreciated by the company they work for. But, when these benefits are nothing more than a gimmick, they can have the opposite effect and make employees wonder if they are really getting anything at all in reward for their hard work and constant
