STAY CALM!!!
It was quite the day yesterday for the stock market and the bond market. Rates are climbing quickly this week and mortgage professionals along with real estate agents are feeling the pain! (PLEASE BE KIND TO US ALL!)
These volatile times are temporary folks. Locking in at a 5.5% or 6.5% does NOT mean you carry that rate for the next 30 years. It simply means you are PROTECTED against changes in the market in the coming weeks. It means that we get you refinanced when rates go down again.
Over the past 30 years, real estate has PROVEN to be the best investment a person can make.
Do not let FEAR creep in!

If you are a veteran or if you are working with a veteran and they are being quoted a 5.5% rate or higher on a mortgage, tell them to call me PLEASE!!!! That is way too high! (this might change by next month, but for now the VA rates are NOT this high!!)
