✨Meet Remy✨
He, along with 6 of his siblings, were abandoned in a parking lot at 3 weeks old and over the past 3.5 weeks, I had been following their story through a local dog rescue on Facebook called Misfits Dog Rescue. He had been popping up on my page, along with his adorable sisters Rosie and Marigold- who looked much more like an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heelers, searching for Foster-to-Adopt families. After convincing the family that Klaus could use a friend, and that meeting a couple little puppies would be totally harmless and a sweet, free gift on Mother's Day 😅 they were reluctantly in. 4 hours later, Marigold was adopted the same day, and we had two 6.5 week old puppies in our backyard 😍
Originally, we had Rosie in mind for several reasons: we have a 4 year old male Border Collie, Klaus whose very much obsessed with Kynslee and I, and she was one of the coolest colored dogs I've ever seen - she looked like someone took an Australian Cattle Dogs' body and then copy-and-pasted Remy's (Rottweiler?/German Shepard?) face on her! But after meeting both puppies, we decided on the little chunky runt of the pack that was too cuddly to pass on- Aries, now Remy ☺️🃏❤️
Now, usually my family tolerates my shenanigans and wild-card ways, because they love me...and I'm fun 😎 So I was fully prepared for the classic "This was a terrible idea" or "YOUR the one that wanted another dog" blah, blah, blah 😅 ......well PLOT TWIST, that's not what happened! Everyone in the family is completely in love with Remy, including Klaus. Jackson said that Remy was one of the best ideas I've ever had, Weston and Kynslee said (out loud may I add) that I was RIGHT and Greyson has thanked me everyday since we've had him 😱🙌 He has the most agreeable and chill personalities and is the sweetest boy. He lays down in his kennel and goes right to sleep at bedtime and is happy in the morning when I wake him up but he never whimpers! He's 8 weeks and still has a few accidents but is pretty much potty trained and he loves playing tug-of-war with Klaus, when he's not being a cuddle-bug 🥰
