We are partnering with Legacy Insurance Group, and Taylor Morgan Insurance Agency. Big changes are coming to the Colorado City area. Here we are at that “most wonderful time of the year”. Be sure and take advantage of the beautiful day Thursday to wrap outside pipes and faucets to prepare for some frigid temps headed our way. It’s predicted that we will be below freezing for at least 40 hours. Make sure your pets have a warm place to be protected as well. Also be mindful of the fact that fires can be a very frequent hazard in the colder months especially if you have heat lamps close to any structures or electric heaters close to any flammable materials. Just watch out for each other, your neighbors and take precautions for protecting family, pets and property. As I read earlier:
“Whether the weather is cold or whether the weather is hot, we’ll weather the weather, whatever the weather, whether we want to or not”. 😊 Take care!

Everyone please be careful in these freezing temps to bring your pets inside. It’s safer that trying to heat a dog hut with a heat lamp that can potentially cause a fire. Just since I have been an insurance agent I know of at least 4 fires that started this way. Also be careful with inside fires or other sources of heat. When it’s extra cold we tend to look for alternative or extra heat to keep us warm.
Also be careful on the roads, not only lots of extra travel but on some areas there may be some form of precipitation on the highways. Drive defensively as well because not everyone does. Just be safe and aware. Have a SAFE and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
